Requirements on Pandemic Prevention and Control

Recently, the situation of pandemic prevention and control is getting complex. It is the common responsibility and obligation of everyone to abide by the national prevention and control policy. In accordance with the latest policy of Guangxi university, all the international students are requested to cooperate in epidemic prevention and control. The relevant requirements are notified as follows:  

1. International students are advised NOT to leave Nanning City unless it is extremely necessary to do so. DO NOT go to the medium and high risk areas as specified by the government and suspend your practice activities in those areas. Those who have been to the medium and high risk areas should report to the International College and the major school immediately.  

2. International students who are leaving Nanning for special circumstances or emergency should ask for written leave permission from the International College and the major school. The written permission should also be reported to the university epidemic prevention and control office. When returning to the university, the students should apply to the university for the return in advance at least one week. Nucleic test would be necessary upon the requirement of the university. Those who have been to the medium and high risk areas should strictly follow the relevant management provisions to return to the university.

3. Please learn the local epidemic prevention and control measures before going out, and take good self-protection measures such as wearing masks where possible and washing your hands frequently. Avoid going out, avoid gathering and avoid crowded places, especially places with poor air fluidity. In case of fever, dry cough, sore throat, decreased sense of smell and other symptoms, you should go to the fever clinic of the nearest hospital for diagnosis and treatment, and truly and completely inform the hospital about your personal travel and residence history, outdoor activity history and contact history.  

4. Report your location and health status to your head teacher on daily basis. If you have a travel history or a stop-over history in the epidemic-related areas or find out that you are infected with the epidemic, you should report to the International College and your major school immediately.

5. International students should ask for the permission in advance at least one day if you want to leave the campus . You should apply through your head teacher to Student Affairs Office, International College.

6.  If you have not received or completed your vaccination yet, please get your vaccinated as soon as possible unless special circumstances occur.  

7. Should you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact your head teacher or the Student Affairs Office, International College.
